Stuart has been a professional hypnotherapist, psychotherapist, coach and counsellor since 1993 and is a CNHC registered Hypnotherapist (the UK official voluntary register for hypnotherapy).

Stuart has studied western psychology at Undergraduate and Post Graduate levels, and is a long term practitioner of Eastern psychology methods derived from Buddhist, Taoist and Zen models. These include Morita (Zen life coaching), Naikan (Zen perceptional psychology), Satori (Zen word and topic psychoanalysis) and Mindfulness (Buddhist Cognitive Behavioural psychology). Stuart is a Senior Professor of Psychoanalysis, Philosophy, Holistic Psychology and Religious Studies at the international Interfaith Seminary and holds a Doctorate in Mindfulness Psychology from the Seminary. He also has a background in the martial arts, with a 5th Dan and experience of coaching since 1988.

Stuart is a SHTC and CTHA registered complementary therapist and life coach.
