Shiatsu introductory day

Our next Introductory one-day workshop is on Saturday May 19th 2012 and will be a fantastic opportunity to learn Shiatsu massage skills to benefit yourself, family and friends.

Everyone is welcome - this day is for total beginners and people of all ages.

You will learn some self-Shiatsu (do-in), be introduced to the basics of giving effective Shiatsu massage, learn a back routine on each other, and this will be followed by being taught some first aid acupressure points. Our aim is that you can use these skills straight away at home, for yourself or others. It is easy to learn Shiatsu at this level, and you will be very popular with your friends!

This day is for those who wish to learn some Shiatsu for personal reasons, as well as for those who are interested in taking the study of this fascinating Oriental art further into the one-year course or full practitioner training. A day like this is an entry requirement for this course, and will give you the chance to meet a The Shiatsu School Edinburgh teacher and/or graduate, see our lovely premises in Bread Street, Edinburgh, and ask questions about the training.

Times: 10.00 am – 5.00 pm
Cost and Payment: £55 per person. £100 for two people booking together.
