Based on sound biomechanical principles, Pilates is an intelligent system of exercise which improves posture and strengthens the core pelvic, abdominal and spinal muscles. This short workshop is for people who are completely new to Pilates, or who have done some in the past but want to go over the basics again. The exercises are kept simple so that you can focus on the Pilates breathing and alignment. They are designed to help you develop a connection with the breath and the core muscles of the pelvis and abdomen.
