Hand Crafted Bags and Corsages
Deborah began designing and making bags in January 2008. What began as a creative hobby very quickly transformed into a passion for fabric and fine design detail.
She relinquished her 25 year career in the dental profession to concentrate on bag design and in January 2009 her work was approved by Craft Fairs Scotland. She designs, hand crafts and exhibits her work in Edinburgh.
Hand Crafted Bags
Every single bag is unique as Deborah’s policy is never to replicate any item. She never works with leather choosing instead fine quality tweed, tartan, linen, silk and cotton. These unique bags are further enhanced with hand sewn beadwork and buttons. She particularly enjoys crafting bags with a vintage feel and will source unusual fabrics and vintage embellishments.
Deborah has a collection of handbags, evening bags, cosmetic bags and purses readily available to purchase.
Hand Crafted Corsages
Each corsage is unique. The available collection consists of fabric and crochet designs embellished with hand sewn beadwork and buttons. All corsages are fitted with a brooch pin back. Pure wool tartan bows are also available. The corsages are a perfect accessory for coats, dresses, hats and bags.
Bespoke Order Service
Deborah also has a bespoke order service for all special occasions. Handbags, evening bags and cosmetic bags can be made to your specific requirements.
Each bespoke bag order includes a matching complimentary cosmetic bag. The corsages and bows are also available as bespoke orders – particularly popular as wedding and Christening favours.
The bespoke order service is perfect for bridal and wedding parties, special birthday gifts, anniversary and Christmas presents.
