As another year draws to a close and the winter coories in, we tend to instinctively stay at home longer and cosy up! I have been spending more time meditating and doing my T'ai Chi which is keeping my energy levels up, and I feel as if I am more in touch with nature's cycle, eating more soup (homemade carrot and coriander yesterday :)), making lemony, spicy biscuits in the shape of Xmas trees for home and gifts, and staying warmly wrapped in my blanket.
I have also spent more time on the internet, discovering fantastic YouTube videos, funny wee links (like a cat balancing on someone's back as she does a salutation to the sun), and exploring twitter and facebook. I have realised that I can use these social media sites to find out about Shiatsu, complementary health and wellbeing around the world, and am really enjoying sharing some of these delights with our Healthy Life Centre facebook and twitter friends, Shiatsu School Edinburgh students, and telling folk about what we do and what inspires us. Join us if you like on twitter (@thehealthylifec) and via The Shiatsu Centre on facebook.

'Coories in': Scots. Tucks in, as in 'cuddle up'
